What It Does
Bardahl EGR Valve Cleaner removes carbon and soot deposits from the EGR valve and intake system, restoring airflow and improving combustion.
Instructions For Use
Pour the entire bottle into the fuel tank containing approximately 20 litres of diesel fuel. Drive for 25 minutes at an engine speed between 2500 and 3500 rpm. After treatment, continue driving normally.
Problem
The EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve and return system can become clogged with soot and carbon deposits over time. This restricts airflow, prevents the engine from breathing correctly and leads to serious problems in poor engine performance and increased emissions. Common symptoms include:
Poor idle speed
Hesitation
Loss of power
Acceleration issues
Possible Causes
Soot and carbon build-up in the EGR valve and return system
Frequent short journeys
Urban driving
Incomplete combustion
Solution
Bardahl EGR Valve Cleaner is a powerful fuel additive designed to clean the EGR valve, intake valves and intake system from the inside. It removes soot, gum, varnish and carbon deposits, restores proper airflow and improves combustion efficiency.
Nothing Will Stop You – The Power Is In Your Hands
Benefits:
Eliminates soot, gum, varnish and carbon deposits
Cleans EGR valve, intake valves and intake system
Restores correct airflow to the combustion chamber
Here you’ll find guidance on choosing and using Bardahl diesel additives, with clear explanations of how they support cleaner injectors, improved efficiency and reliable diesel engine operation.
What are diesel fuel additives and why should I use them?
Bardahl diesel additives are chemical treatments added to diesel fuel to clean and protect injection systems, improve combustion, reduce deposits and emissions, and help maintain performance and efficiency. They can also address water in fuel and support fuel system longevity.
How do Bardahl Diesel 5 in 1 Cleaner and Common Rail Injection Cleaner differ?
Diesel 5 in 1 Cleaner is a multi-function additive that cleans the injection system, turbo, particulate filter, EGR valve and catalytic converter without dismantling parts.
Common Rail Injection Cleaner is formulated specifically for modern high-pressure common rail diesel systems to clean injectors and improve spray performance.
What does EGR Valve Cleaner do?
Bardahl’s EGR Valve Cleaner removes soot and carbon build-up from the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve, restoring airflow and engine performance, reducing rough idling and helping prevent clogging problems.
When should I use Preventive DPF Treatment vs Turbo and Particulate Filter Cleaner?
Preventive DPF Treatment is added to the fuel to help prevent soot build-up and support regeneration of the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), extending its life.
Turbo and Particulate Filter Cleaner targets both turbocharger deposits and partially clogged filters, helping dissolve soot and residues to improve airflow and performance.
What benefits do Cetane Booster, Common Rail Diesel Additive and Water Remover provide?
Cetane Booster increases the cetane number of diesel, improving combustion quality, easing cold starts and enhancing engine performance.
Common Rail Diesel Additive lubricates and protects injectors and pumps, while reducing emissions and improving fuel economy.
Water Remover eliminates condensation water from diesel fuel, protects injectors and pump from corrosion, and prevents performance issues caused by water contamination.
